Vercetti Enterprises Builds Out New Amal Location in Fort Lauderdale at Icon Las Olas

Vercetti Enterprises is completing the restaurant build-out for Amal Fort Lauderdale, the newest South Florida location of INK Entertainment Group’s modern Lebanese restaurant concept. Located at Icon Las Olas in downtown Fort Lauderdale, the project continues Amal’s expansion following the opening of its Coconut Grove location.

The approximately 6,000-square-foot restaurant construction project includes a full interior build-out and expanded outdoor dining areas along Las Olas Boulevard. Vercetti is coordinating the architectural finishes, storefront, signage, lighting, and building systems required for the new location.

The scope also includes kitchen and bar infrastructure, low-voltage systems, and specialty restaurant equipment. Vercetti is also coordinating the replacement of the grease trap system within the Icon apartment building’s parking garage.

Working within an active mixed-use property adds another layer of coordination to the project. Construction activities, building access, utilities, and exterior work must be carefully managed while maintaining activity throughout the surrounding property and Las Olas pedestrian environment.

The project continues Vercetti’s relationship with INK Entertainment Group. Previous collaborations include Amal Coconut Grove, Level 6 Rooftop, Sofia Design District, and Meet Dalia at the Park Central Hotel.

As construction progresses, Amal Fort Lauderdale further demonstrates Vercetti’s experience with restaurant construction and hospitality build-outs across South Florida. The project brings together architectural finishes, restaurant infrastructure, building systems, and operational requirements within a busy downtown setting.
