Vercetti Enterprises Breaks Ground on Miami Lakes Branch Library Renovation
Vercetti Enterprises joined Miami-Dade County, the Town of Miami Lakes, and the Miami-Dade Public Library System to celebrate the Miami Lakes Library groundbreaking on April 20, 2026. The ceremony marked the start of a major renovation and expansion of the longtime community library.
Originally opened in 1981, the Miami Lakes Branch Library has served generations of residents for more than four decades. The Miami Lakes Library Renovation will modernize the existing facility and add approximately 5,000 square feet of new space to better serve the community.
The improvements include new community spaces, technology upgrades, and enhanced interior and exterior areas. The project also includes improvements to the building envelope, landscaping, and site amenities.
For Vercetti Enterprises President Danial Vercetti, the project holds special significance. Having grown up in the Town of Miami Lakes and spent time at the library throughout his childhood, the opportunity to now help improve this familiar community space is especially meaningful.
For Danial and the Vercetti team, the Miami Lakes Library Renovation is a meaningful opportunity to give back to a community that has been part of his life for decades. Vercetti is proud to begin construction and looks forward to seeing the renewed library take shape.
