Vercetti Enterprises Completes Restaurant Construction for Sofia Design District

Sofia at Design District is officially complete, marking another high-end restaurant construction project delivered by Vercetti Enterprises for INK Entertainment Group in Miami.

The approximately 5,000-square-foot restaurant build-out transformed the former Estefan Kitchen space into Sofia’s new Miami location. The project included a full design-build renovation and new exterior courtyard dining areas.

Working alongside Studio Munge, Vercetti brought the detailed design to life through custom construction and specialty finishes. One of the project’s key features is a full-height operable NanaWall glass system. The system creates a seamless connection between the interior restaurant and outdoor courtyard.

Inside, Vercetti installed hand-placed tilework arranged in a precise custom pattern. The team also coordinated an LED-integrated knife-edge ceiling designed around the flowing geometry of the flooring. Custom millwork and built-in furnishings were installed throughout the restaurant.

The completed project reflects the level of coordination required for high-end restaurant construction in Miami. From custom architectural details to indoor-outdoor dining areas, each element had to support both the design vision and daily restaurant operations.
